The Colliford Tavern and Campsite is situated in the heart of Bodmin Moor, adjacent to the 900-acre Colliford Lake, which has various lakeside walks, picnic areas and a nature reserve. The lake offers traditional fly-fishing, for brown trout, the permits for which are available from our clients business. Bodmin Moor attracts a number of visitors each year who come to enjoy its unique geography, floral and fauna and attractive moorland villages. The Colliford Tavern is a short distance from the main arterial trunk road connecting east and west Cornwall, yet enjoys a quiet lightly wooded setting. The towns of Liskeard and Bodmin are nearby and offer a wide range of retail businesses, primary, secondary and tertiary college education.
The total site area is circa 17 acres, with 5 acres being given over to the touring/tent site, which is a well screened and mainly level area complete with 7 hard standings, 17 hook-ups and shower/ablution block nearby. Adjacent to the touring site is an area of approximately 0.5 acre for dog exercise/walking. The tavern entrance, car park and service/owners area equates to circa 1.5 acres.
